Retirement Gratuity is payable to a Govt. Servant on his/her retirement if he has rendered at least 5 years of qualifying service. It is payable at the rate of ‘One-Fourth’ of emoluments (परिलब्धियां) for each completed six monthly period of qualifying service subject to maximum of 16.5 times of emoluments or Rs. 20.00 Lac. whichever is less as per Rule.
